Two model variants of the upcoming phone Redmi Note 7 have been certified by the Bluetooth SIG body today.
Though Redmi hasn’t officially confirmed the name of the device to be launched tomorrow, what we know for sure is that there’s an event at 2PM tomorrow to be held at Beijing, China. The Bluetooth certification for Redmi Note 7 today pretty much confirms that it could be none other than Redmi Note 7 that would be released tomorrow.
This is the first phone to be launched under the brand Redmi after the parent company Xiaomi decided to make Redmi its sub-brand.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has been active on Weibo in the past few days sharing several updates about this phone. He has shared official images of the phone as well as some key specs including a 48 MP camera. Redmi Pro 2 was speculated to be the device to be released with the 48 MP camera but the BTSIG listing has confirmed the model name and model number variants today.
We also know that the phone would run MIUI 10 version and support Bluetooth version 5.0
Redmi Note 7 Specs

The same phone was also found in a CCC listing which confirmed that it would support 10W charging. The screen size is expected to be 6.3 inches and the phone comes with a waterdrop notch and supports Full HD+ resolution.
The color variants are Black, Violet-Blue and Purple-Red from what we see in the images shared by the CEO in weibo.
We may be in for a pleasant surprise tomorrow. There could be other phones lined up for release in addition to this as we’ve seen rumors about Redmi X. Let’s wait for 24 hours to know more details.
