There have been numerous leaks and rumors about Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro and C5 Pro. Well, as it appears, this saga is soon coming to an end.
If all goes according to a new rumor coming from China, the no longer Chinese-exclusive Samsung Galaxy C series will be getting new members starting January 16. If Samsung Galax7 C7 Pro and C7 Pro won’t start selling this day, they will at least be launched on this same date. This is true because the South Korean tech giant has confirmed the reservations for the Galaxy C7 Pro will begin next week Monday.
Now, following numerous leaks about the specs and features of the phones, their looks have been elusive. However, this is no more thanks to our friends from China’s Weibo. Apparently, we now have images of three color variants of Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro with just days to go before pre-orders begin. These are gold, pink and a dark blue variant that should launch later on.
Earlier rumors had claimed that Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will ship with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution. Under the hood, this phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 626 chipset that is paired with a 4GB RAM. There should be two storage variants of 32GB and 64GB.
Despite the fact that the processor of the Galaxy C7 Pro is not the best out there, perhaps the phone will impress you with its camera specs. The back has a 16MP snapper and so does the front. This is the same highlight of the Galaxy A5 2017 and A7 2017. You also get a bumper battery of 3300mAh that supports fast charging technology. There is Android Marshmallow out of the box, but the phone should receive an update to Android Nougat down the year.
As it is, Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will be available starting next week Monday at a fee of CNY 2,799, which is about $405. As of now, the phone will remain exclusive to China, but there is hope that it will make it to other markets now that other Galaxy C series handsets are doing so.
