Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is now a new phone in the market, but it has yet to hit all possible markets across the globe.
The phone was unveiled towards the end of last year and so far, it has only reached a handful of markets, including China and India. As for those in Malaysia and have been craving for the launch of the phablet Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, well, the phone will be available for pre-orders as from March 6th onwards.
In China, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has a price tag of CNY 3,199. However, those in Malaysia will be parting with RM 2,299 in order to get their hands on the phablet. When converted using the current rates, the Chinese variant comes in at $464 while the latter has a price tag of $334.
Despite the price differences, the Galaxy C9 Pro models sold in the two markets are one and the same, carrying the same specs and features. The phone has been listed on two retailers – Lazada and 11 Street. Apparently, the pre-orders will be available from Monday to Wednesday next week, but there’s no word of what happens after that. Malaysia will now join those in China, Hong Kong, India, and Bangladesh in receiving the Galaxy C9 Pro, which is the first Samsung phone to ship with 6GB RAM.
Other than the massive 6GB RAM, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro also comes with a huge 6-inch Super AMOLEDE display screen with a Full HD resolution. Under the hood, the phablet has a Snapdragon 653 SoC running the show. To store your files, you have 64GB and if this is not enough, you can expand it via a microSD card pf up to 256GB. In terms of photography, the Galaxy C9 Pro is also the first Sammy device to ship with 16MP lenses on both the front and rear shooters.
To keep it alive is a huge 4000mAh battery that is supported by the company’s proprietary fast charging technology. Android Marshmallow powers the phone out of the box, but it will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat at a later time.
If you decide to take the pre-orders channel, you’ll stand a chance to grab a 20% discount on a second Galaxy C9 Pro that you purchase.
