With the model number SMJ727A, the J7 2017 edition will have a spacious 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. For a model getting launched this year, 720p sounds like a step back. The phone will have 2GB of RAM combined with 16GB of storage space. Its rear side will be dominated by a 8 megapixel camera while the front will have a 5 megapixel camera for selfies. Being a next gen phone, it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. The new OS is designed to improve performance of the device by offering better notifications, dual app windows and much more. With such limited hardware, it is to be seen how the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 edition handles Nougat efficiently.
