Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Battery Details Revealed

The smartphone industry is eagerly awaiting Samsung’s Unpacked 2025 launch event where it is expected to disclose the upcoming Galaxy S25 flagship lineup including the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Even as the wait continues, an online Safety Korea report recently highlighted two authentication reports related to the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The reports mention two model numbers EB-BS938ABY and EB-BS938ABE for the battery. It is unclear at the moment why two numbers have been listed as the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be equipped with only one battery. These reports also confirm Ningde Amperex Technology Limited as the battery manufacturer.

The same manufacturer supplied the batteries for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series in the past along with Samsung ELENTEC and SDI. The possibility of these two suppliers being involved with the Galaxy S25 series cannot be completely ruled out.

Going by earlier reports, the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Galaxy S24 Ultra will sport identical battery and charging hardware with a 5000 mAh battery and 45 W fast charging support. However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to offer better battery performance.

Other Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Details

According to a rumor posted by renowned tipster Ice Universe on the popular X platform, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a RAM boost and incorporate 16 GB LPDDR6 RAM instead of the standard 12GB RAM. While the post did not mention any model name, earlier posts by the leaker on the same platform indicate that he is referring to the S25 Ultra. The RAM boost is important to get the best out of multitasking and the AI features offered which RAM intensive.

There are talks that the manufacturer is opting for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor in the S25 Ultra. At the same time, it cannot be denied that there are also rumors about Samsung using a MediaTek chip as a Qualcomm replacement.

On the design front, it has been reported that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will depict thinner bezels than its predecessors. The frame may also be flatter while the corners are likely to be more rounded. For the display, the smartphone is expected to have a 6.8-inch dynamic AMOLED 2X display that renders sharper visuals and more vibrant colors.
