Samsung Launches Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro in India, Details Specs and Pricing

Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro

A promising mid-range smartphone has been launched in India.

Samsung has launched two different models each with slightly similar specifications but the variations have allowed them to price them at different price points making it easier for buyers to pick their choice.

In a launch event held in the country, Samsung announced the new Galaxy J7 Max and the J7 Pro. The phones are priced at 20,900 and 17,900 INR which roughly translates close to $400 in the United States if these models are launched in here. The phones are available in two different color options, the Gold and Black which is a standard pick these days for all Samsung smartphones.

During the announcement, the company confirmed that the Galaxy J7 Max will be made available across retail stores on June 20th which is just a week to go while the Galaxy J7 Pro will be available in the mid of July, next month. Both phones also support Samsung Pay Mini payment solution. It is a new feature which is designed to work on any Android smartphone which has a HD display resolution and should run on Android 5.0 operating system or above.

In terms of specification, the J7 Pro features a metal body making it look and feel extremely premium especially considering the mid-range price point the smartphone manufacturer has opted for. The phone has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels on a super AMOLED display. It guarantees the best visual finesse for the phone. Under the metal body, a 1.6 GHz octa core exynos 7870 processor powers this device coupled with Mali T830 GPU for graphical power. The model has 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage space and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. It sports 3,600 mAh battery.

A 13 megapixel camera adorns the phone in the rear end and also has finger print sensor as part of the home button. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has a bigger 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution allowing the phone to deliver crisp, crystal clear videos, movies among other visual content. Even apps and games would look much better on full HD resolution which is something you can experience only when you start using one. It has 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage along with support of micro SD card.

The phone has 13mp rear camera and a 3300 mAh battery to last a whole day. It runs on Android Nougat out of the box.
