Samsung has no competition in the smartphone market as of now.
It was earlier rumoured that the Galaxy Note 8 will be launched earlier than expected as Samsung was keen on acquiring more market share before Apple launches their iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. The latest report which comes from reliable sources nearly confirms that the next flagship large phone from Samsung is coming. It will be launched in a grand event on August 23rd in an Unpacked event to be held in New York City.
Galaxy S8 is a great phone in many ways and it ushered in truly bezel less design. Despite all the good facts, the phone failed to excite the audience. It is more of a situation that prevails for every smartphone manufacturer and not just one company. Buyers couldn’t find anything excited about an Android or an iOS smartphone because they look nearly the same with the capability to do daily activities a bit faster than the previous flagship.
In terms of battery life and style, the phone does win especially with a powerful and brilliant display. Samsung now has to convince everyone that the Galaxy Note 8 is a good phone and most importantly, it wouldn’t explore as its older brother that created such a fiasco for the entire brand in their decades of selling devices. Earlier, it was said September is the month during which the next phone will be launched which has now been preponed to the month of August.
An on-screen fingerprint scanner is what both Samsung and Apple are trying to accomplish for a long time now. However, it looks due to lack of technology and time, the Galaxy Note 8 will not have this feature but will once again focus on a high-resolution display and better battery life. In their attempt to create a large battery, the previous phones exploded which is something Samsung had fixed in the new phone.
In terms of size, it will be slightly bigger than the S8 Plus which is already available in the market. Anything bigger than that would be tough to use. The quick launch will also favour them to sell more Android devices before the next iPhone is announced, possibly in the month of October.
