In the last 15 years, the one brand that has been bringing a lot of innovation into the foldable smartphone space is Samsung.

In recent times, Samsung introduced a generation to folding smartphones with its Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series.

Now, it seems the South Korea based tech giant is putting in more efforts to popularize the use of foldable smartphones. Last week, Samsung participated in the much-talked-about SID 2022 Display Week organized in San Jose California, USA. During this event, Samsung Display technologies unveiled the ‘Flex Note’ folding display. Looking at the way it has been designed, one would not be surprised if it revolutionizes the foldable device market across the world.

Samsung used its online newsroom to share a few images of this new display design. If you observe the images carefully, you will realize the Flex Note design bears a strong resemblance to a device that could be a hybrid formed as a result of a folding notebook and tablet being merged together.

The design of the device is quite similar to the kind you come across in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, which is also a foldable device. In one of the images, one can see the Windows start Menu logo being displayed in the bottom left corner of the device.

The design boasts of several features that make it unique. For instance, when you unfold it, the keyboard disappears and offers more screen space while consuming video content. This is something you don’t get to do while using standard laptops featuring conventional keys.
