The Sims 4 has got a new Toddler update and it’s one of the biggest according to Maxis.
The Electronic Arts published game continues to expand but surprisingly this is a free update that you can download and play right away.
For a long time, Sims players have had requests and they continue to ask for various things from the developers. However, in their post they clarified that it is not possible to add all of them at once due to constrained resources, time and the goals they have already set for the Sims 4 as a longterm title. Out of the many, toddlers seem to have always been of significant importance as they add a whole new perspective to the game and bring out the matured aspects of a gamer when they grow young children into adulthood.
“Since the Sims 4 got launched two years ago, we have always had requests from players on things they wanted to see in the game. While it is practically not possible to include all of them, we do take feedbacks into account and understand the type of experiences you love to have in the game. We are well aware of the fact that many of you wanted to experience the toddlers’ life stage. We do feel that it feels right for our players and makes sense for the game as a whole,” wrote SimguruLyndsay.
“It was impossible to not talk about it as development has been underway for a long time now, two years to be precise. The time just wasn’t right and we had to get the best quality out. Adding life to toddlers, make them be the cute, cuddly babies they are is a heavy process and we are glad we finally managed to bring it to your all,” she adds.
The official blog post revealed that toddlers will have a whole lot of activities to explore and there will be more ways to customize the room to suit your baby’s needs. Your Sims should teach them using flash cards, converse so they could learn the language, get dance parties and help the young one make friends with other children. There are dozens of new animations, interactions that bring these cute ones to life. The sheer range of outfits and objects make things more interesting as you can customize them all you want until your baby stops crying.
The Sims 4 toddler update is free to download unlike the newly launched Vampire game pack among other content that usually costs extra.
