The first facelifted edition of the Skoda Citigo was revealed during the Geneva Motor Show in the month of March this year.
After a couple of months, the automobile manufacturer has announced the pricing and specifications of the car.
The new Citigo will be priced at £8,635 for the base model. The redesigned edition of the car sports a front-end revamp along with a host of changes in the dashboard and the interior of the model. The new creased bonnet is a welcome addition which makes the car looks very stylish and compact than it has ever been combined with a slightly tweaked radiator grille. A wider air vent can now be found in the front bumper and the fog lamps are rectangular in shape.
For better visibility and to add a touch of premium finish, the designers have now integrated daytime front LED running lights. The fog lights are still there but they are now equipped with a useful feature. Buyers can upgrade it with corner tracking feature and the taillights are now tinted which is another upgrade you could go for by paying the additional cost. The mid-range editions will come with all these features and contrasting white or black mirrors, roof panels.
Skoda Citigo revised edition uses 15-inch alloy wheels and there is a new fresh green paint color option. The range of cars available for purchase include S, SE, SE L and Monte Carlo. The entry level model has USB support and Bluetooth enabled radio while the SE Model which is priced at £9,635 comes with LED daytime running lights, color display, six speaker surround system and air conditioner. It also includes 14-inch alloy wheels if you are willing to pay £1000 more.
The SE L features 15-inch alloy wheels, multifunction steering wheel with a leather wrap, rear parking sensors and heated front seats. The door mirrors can be electronically adjusted and heated. All these features will push the price tag of the car to £10,280. The lineup doesn’t end here because there is the top of the line, the most sophisticated Skoda Citigo priced at £11,170.
Monte Carlo is the top of the line Citigo any buyer could get which has 15 mm lower suspension, sports seat and a red colored center console. The position of the cabin has been redone in all the models. The higher end variants of the car has a two tone dashboard, with two unique looks for the instrument panel. The 1.0-liter three-cylinder dual engine powers the Skoda Citigo producing up to 74 horsepower in the higher end variant.
