With the Sims 4 ready for launch on Xbox One and PS4 consoles, most gamers are posting questions related to the console version of the game.
In a recent question to one of the Simguru Michael Duke, a gamer wanted to know what kind of DLC content they could expect on launch.
The Simguru did his best to answer the question in a clear manner and confirmed that the entire team at Maxis is working to ensure console gamers get the best experience as their PC counterparts. In a Twitter conversation, he confirmed that the Sims 4 will get launched on the Xbox One, PS4 consoles with a free holiday pack. However, he didn’t detail what kind of content will be provided in this particular pack. The Simguru added that for the convenience of players, cheats will be allowed on launch.
“We understand that like how PC gamers make use of cheats to progress in the game and experience being a powerful Sim with all the simoleons they could get, console gamers may have the same dream. As developers, we are not going to limit too much on the cheats. You will be able to use most of the cheats on launch. However, when they are activated, the trophy on PS4 and achievements on Xbox console will be disabled. It ensures that people who work and play hard to earn their rewards are duly recognized while those who play the game for fun can just explore it all,” said the developer.

Gamers have different choices and the developers are literally unsure of what they should release first. Stating the fact, simguru Michael requested fans to tell them what expansion packs, stuff packs and game packs should be released for the Sims 4 on the consoles. He wanted players to drop in comments, e-mails and other ways to let the developer team make an informed decision.
“Let us know what packs we should port first and we will consider it,” he wrote on his Twitter page. Based on all these announcements and earlier news, it is known that the Sims 4 PS4, Xbox One version will receive all the packs released for Windows PCs and Macs so far. However, it will take time for the team to port them all one by one to two different platforms. The developers are also working on finalizing the controls to make it seamless and intuitive on the consoles. The Sims 4 Console Perfect Patio is now available for pre-order for the Xbox One, PS4 platforms.
Parenthood would be good. I think there was minor(?) outrage when it originally came out without that basic feature.
I love so much
