Mercedes had some proud moments as they unveiled the big Maybach 6 Cabriolet vision car at the Pebble Beach auto expo.
According to the company, the new car is made to define the ultimate level in luxury and will be a future car in all respects. The model looks extremely futuristic and is an electric concept car that makes it an easy entrant into the race. The car features a rather large chrome slatted grille and a sloping rear end. It is equipped with 24-inch multi-spoke wheels and the overall shape, size of the car is designed in such a way that it represents a luxury yacht.
Ideally, the vision model can house only two people at once and features a cockpit styled dashboard that provides all the information the driver would need at a glance. The seats are covered in crystal white nappa leather and the diamond pattern on them has been aesthetically covered up as it is usually done in Chesterfield sofas.
The wooden floor of the car is covered with aluminium inlays ensuring that the yacht theme is followed throughout the car. It looks very minimalistic which is an added advantage for people who prefer something light yet heavily luxurious in looks. The Mercedes Maybach 6 Cabriolet model features three air vents along with dials. Every feature within the car can be controlled with the help of a Concierge voice control system. It has been tweaked in such a way that it recognizes natural speech instantly.
The dashboard of the car sports two different heads up displays and uses biometric sensors that are capable of understanding what a passenger needs at the right time. A powerful and highly potent engine is found under the hood of the new Mercedes car. Instead of the usual petrol engines, this time it is equipped with four highly efficient electric motors which when combined produces an amazing 740 horsepower which is impressive for an Electric Car.
The Mercedes Maybach 6 Cabriolet concept according to the engineers can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than 4 seconds. The car can go up to 200 miles on a single charge and uses a new DC charging system which saves a lot of time spent near the plug port. In just five minutes, the car’s battery can quick charge and can go up to 60 miles making it easy for the passengers to reach quick miles.
