Lenovo A5s with model number L18081 has been approved by Bluetooth SIG certification body.
In the recent past, the L18081 handset has been also spotted on the database of Indonesia’s TKDN body. In addition to this, it was also spotted in another Indonesian certification website (Directorate of standardization of postal and information technology equipment) along with the name Lenovo A5s.
The Bluetooth SIG listing of the Lenovo A5s L18081 revels that it carries support for Bluetooth 4.1. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT67671 (Helio A22) SoC. The handset is loaded with the latest Android 9 Pie OS. Apart from these details, there is no other information available on the specifications of the Lenovo A5s.

Successor to Lenovo A5?
After a brief hiatus, Lenovo returned to the smartphone business this year with a bang by launching 13 handsets this year. Its 2018 smartphone profile includes topnotch Snapdragon 855 powered Lenovo Z5 Pro GT to the modest Lenovo A5 phone that is fueled by MediaTek MT6739 chipset. The newly spotted Lenovo A5s seems to be an updated version of the Lenovo A5 that was announced in June. With only 10 days remaining for the year 2018 to end, it appears that the Lenovo A5s will be made official as one of the first smartphones from the company in the coming year. Since the company seems to be gearing for an early start in 2019, it may launch more number of phones in the coming year.

The 16 GB and 32 GB editions of the Lenovo A5 that respectively features 2 GB and 3 GB RAM were released in India in October with respective price tags of Rs. 5,999 (~$86) and Rs. 6,999 (~$100). It is fitted with a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by MediaTek MT6739 chipset. It is equipped with a single camera of 13-megapixel and a front-facing shooter of 8-megapixel. It is packed with 4,000mAh battery.
