The Nokia TA-1157 smartphone has received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. and from the specs, we can say it’s not Nokia 1 Plus.
Several important details that have surfaced through the FCC documents of the Nokia TA-1157 which reveals that it is an upcoming mid-range Android One phone from the company.
The dimensions of the Nokia TA-1157 are 148.95 mm x 71.3 mm. It diagonally measures 165.1 mm which is equal to 6.5 inches. This indicates that the phone could be equipped with a display of around 6 inches. The rear design of the Nokia TA-1157 reveals that it features a vertically arrange dual camera setup followed by an LED flash and fingerprint scanner. The bottom portion of the phone has Android One logo which suggests that it will be yet another Nokia phone that will offer stock Android experience.
The Nokia TA-1157 carries support for Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The base model of the phone will feature 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The higher model will have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Lastly, the phone is packed with a decent battery of 3,000 mAh capacity. These specs suggest that the Nokia TA-1157 will be an upcoming mid-range phone from the company. Nokia 1 Plus details are already leaked online and it’s an Android Go phone with just 1 GB RAM whereas this is not.
In December, the very same model was approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia. The exact product name of the Nokia TA-1157 is yet to be determined. The Nokia TA-1157 is now speculated to be one of the pones that HMD Global may announce through its Feb 24 keynote event at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in the coming month.
The Finnish firm is expected to debut the Nokia 9 PureView flagship smartphone with penta-lens setup at the MWC 2019. The other Nokia phones that are expected to go official at Nokia’s MWC event are Nokia 6.2 (or Nokia 6.1 2019), Nokia 8.1 Plus and Nokia 1 Plus.
