Verizon is sending a new software update to Galaxy S20 5G UW, S20+ 5G, S20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, Note 10+ 5G, and Galaxy A51 smartphones.
All the Samsung phones here in this article are receiving June 2021 security patch update except the Galaxy A51, which is getting a month older May 2021 security patch.
Galaxy S20 5G UW, S20+ 5G, and S20 Ultra 5G
Verizon-bound Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW, Galaxy S20+ 5G, and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G are a new software update that brings June 2021 security patch. This is a minor security patch update and does not bring new features or UI changes. It is rolling out as system update number 14 for Galaxy S20 5G UW, while the Galaxy S20+ 5G and S20 Ultra are receiving their 17th system update.
Galaxy Note 20 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G
Verizon has released system update number 12 for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G. It brings the latest security patch released in June 2021. The changelog does not mention any other changes apart from a new security patch.
Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G
Samsung’s June 2021 security update is rolling out at a very good pace. It was also the first to release the latest security patch which has now reached a bunch of Galaxy phones including Galaxy S21 series, S20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and more. Now, Verizon has started sending June 2021 security update to Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G. It comes at software update number 22 for the Galaxy Note 10 trio.
Samsung Galaxy A51
Unlike all the Samsung phones mentioned above, Galaxy A51 is receiving a month older, May 2021 security patch from Verizon. The update also brings enhancements to Quick Share for easy file sharing. BTW, the update is rolling out as the 6th system update for Verizon’s Galaxy A51.
