Verizon LG V30 and LG K20 V Get March Security Patch Updates

Verizon has included LG V30 and LG K20 V for release of the latest android security patch updates.

Users of these Verizon issued devices can check if the OTA updates have been received on their phones. If you are yet to get it, there are ways in which the updates can be downloaded manually.

LG K20 V

Verizon has already released 11 updates for the LG K20 V since the phone was released in 2017. This mid segment device in now getting its 12th software update. As indicated, the latest March update for the Android security is the major component in this update.

The LG K20 V comes with a 5.3 inch HD+ display and has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC as the processor. The phone has 2 GB RAM and the internal storage is issued in two variants, 16 GB and 32 GB. There is the micro-SD card slot, however to lift the storage to 256 GB. The camera section has a 13 MP rear shooter and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. A decent 2700 mAh battery powers the LG K20 V.

LG V30

This is another 2017 phone from LG/Verizon and is receiving the 11th update this time from the carrier. This software update too has only the latest Android security patch for the device.

The LG V30 is more like a flagship phone for the South Korean company has a 6 inch full HD+ P-OLED display offering a screen resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a high pixel density of 537ppi. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC is the processor and receives support from 4 GB RAM. There is a LG V30+ model that has 128GB storage but this V30 version has only 64 GB as internal storage.  A 16 MP+13 MP dual sensor setup adorn the rear camera module while the front camera is 5 MP in size. 3300 mAh battery is fitted on this LG V30.
