Verizon Moto Z2 Force is getting the Android Pie update. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and several other phones are getting security patch updates.
The other smartphones from Verizon that are included in today’s list for software updates are the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Moto G6 Play, LG G6, LG G8 ThinQ and the LG Zone 4. The updates are mostly about installing the June/July patch update from Android that covers the security levels in the OS.
Motorola Moto Z2 Force
Moto Z2 Force gets it update number 13 from Verizon which includes Android Pie upgrade along security patch updates dated June 1, 2019. After a long wait, users of Motorola Z2 force have finally received the Pie upgrade and this also allows them to use Motorola’s 5G Moto mod.
Motorola Moto G6 Play
This is an entry level smartphone from Motorola with modest specifications. Released about a year ago, the phone gets its software update No. 6 from Verizon. Though the key update is the June security patch for the Android OS released for the model, there are improvements brought about in the functioning of the GPS feature. This is particularly important when the GPS is used in the Maps app.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was the company’s flagship released in the second half of 2017 and sports top end specifications Samsung reserves for the Note series. With the S series flagships out in March, the South Korean giant keeps the pressure on with the Note series in August or thereabouts. This is update No. 20 for this model. This update contains only the Android security patch dated July 1, 2019.
LG G6
This mid-range smartphone from LG gets a software update from Verizon comprising the latest Android security patch available for this specific model. It has to be noted that the update has been released in May 2019 and no further patches have been released. This G series smartphone from LG released by the South Korean company in March 2017 gets the 13th update from Verizon.

LG G8 ThinQ
This recently released phone from LG is getting just its second update from Verizon which brings the security patch updates dated June 1, 2019 and also a few camera improvements alongside the patch updates.
LG Zone 4
The Zone 4 model from LG and sold through Verizon gets its update No. 10 from the carrier. This update has the latest Android security patch, which is dated July 1, 2019.
All these are OTA updates and if you posses any of these devices the updates might have been already downloaded and installed on your device by now.
