A new Vivo phone with model number V1838A has appeared on the database of China’s TENAA telecom authority with full specifications.
In the recent past, the TENAA had also approved the Vivo V1831A/T smartphone. Through TENAA it was confirmed that the Vivo V1831A/T as the Chinese edition of the Vivo V15 phone. Probably, it may release as Vivo S1 in China. The Vivo V1838A could be one of the phones that may get unveiled through Vivo’s launch event on March 19. However, there is no confirmation yet on the identity of the newly spotted Vivo V1838A.
The Vivo V1838A smartphone measures 157.66 x 74.26 x 8.95mm and it weighs 188.3 grams. The smartphone is fitted with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The images of the Vivo V1838A are yet to appear on TENAA. Hence, Vivo fans will have to wait for few more days for the TENAA listing to get updated with the images to know its design. However, if it’s the Vivo X27 smartphone, it is very likely to feature a notch-less display.
For capturing selfies, the smartphone is equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera. Probably, it could be present on the device as a pop-up camera. The rear side of the phone is fitted with a triple camera unit that includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor and a third sensor of 5-megapixel.
The Android 9 Pie OS comes loaded on the device. It is fueled by an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.0 GHz. It will be hitting the Chinese markets in two models such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It is equipped with a minimum capacity battery of 3,920 mAh. Its typical capacity could be 4,000 mAh. The other features of the phone include in-screen fingerprint reader and fast charging. It lacks support for microSD card slot.
