Rumors are rife that it will launch on August 17 or 18 in India. Hence, it appears that the company could be testing its performance before its official announcement. The will replace the V23 that debuted at the start of this year.

Geekbench Listing

The V2202 Geekbench listing shows that it is powered by a MediaTek chip that has an MT6877V/ZA model number. The CPU information mentioned in the listing reveals that it has 2 CPU cores working at 2.40 and 2 x CPU cores clocking at 2.00GHz.

The source code of the listing reveals that it has a Mali-G68 MC4 CPU. These clues are enough to conclude that it is equipped with the Dimensity 900 chipset.

Like other recent phones, the V25 5G will come preloaded with Android 12 OS. In the single-core test of Geekbench, it scored 700 points and 1997 points in the multi-core test.

The launch of the Vivo V25 5G is imminent because it has been recently spotted on certification sites such as the FCC, Indonesia’s TKDN, and India’s BIS. These certifications indicate that the V25 will also release in the global market apart from India.

In the global market, the Vivo V25 5G may come in two storage variants, such as 128GB and 256GB. Both models are said to be equipped with 8GB of RAM. The handset is likely to come in shades like Dimond Black and Sunrise Gold. Unfortunately, the major specifications of the device are under wraps. Considering that it has a V-series phone, it is expected to offer a stellar photography experience.

Vivo V25E and Vivo V25 Pro

There is some news about two other phones in the Vivo V25 series that could be on the day. Vivo V2158 was found on BIS, EEC, and IMEI certification websites and is likely the Vivo V25 Pro 5G smartphone. It’s believed to be rebranded Vivo S15 Pro. Vivo V2201 is expected to belong to Vivo V25E. However, the names of these phones are yet to be official in any certifications.

Stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted.
