Vivo is gearing up its work on the Vivo V40e as a new addition to the Vivo 40 lineup.
The current smartphones in the series, the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro made their debut last month this year in July and August respectively. Around the same time, the Vivo V40 was listed on the Bluetooth SIG website along with its associated model number, V2403.

A new leak has now surfaced sharing some speculative details about what can be expected concerning design, specification, and some other factors of the upcoming V40e smartphone.
Vivo V40e Design, Rating, and Colors
According to the leak, the smartphone will come with an IP 65 rating that makes it resistant to dust and water. It will have a strikingly slim profile and be available in color options of Royal Bronze and Monsoon Green.
Display Details
The Vivo V40e will have a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED display panel in line with the other handsets in its lineup. The screen will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and deliver 4500 nits peak brightness. There will be a fingerprint sensor under the display for security purposes.
Vivo V40e Camera Specs
The present Vivo V40 series is known for its excellent camera setup. The manufacturer will follow the trend in the V40e as part of its mission to provide an exceptional photography experience at an affordable price.

According to the report, the main camera in the new smartphone will be a 50 MP Sony IMX8M2 shooter that will be supported by an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. In the front, there will be a 50 MP that is likely to feature a Samsung JN1 lens.
Hardware and Software
The Vivo V40e will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset under its hood. The smartphone will come with 8 GB RAM and two storage options of 128 GB and 256 GB.
The smartphone will be available with Android 14 layered with the manufacturer’s FunTouch OS 14 preinstalled.
Battery and Charging Details
Irrespective of its slim design, the V40e will house a fairly large 5,500 mAh battery. The charging details are yet to be known.

The Vivo V40e will arrive as a mid-range smartphone and compete with other handsets like the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo F27 Pro+. Depending on the storage option, the handset will be priced between USD 240 and USD 360.
