The Vivo V5 Plus is finally available for pre-orders, at least for those who are in Malaysia, ahead of its official launch this Friday.

The phone’s specs and features have already been spilled and what was only remaining was the pricing details and the unwrapping of the phone. Well, it will be happening this week and to prove this, the company has already put up the Vivo V5 Plus for pre-orders.

From what we have, the Vivo V5 Plus is available for RM 1,799, which is equivalent to about $402. This clearly shows that the V5 Plus will not be a cheap phone, but it is not the same league as the flagship smartphones of this world, especially when it comes to its hardware configuration.

Like what had already been leaked out previously, the Vivo V5 Plus will come with a Full HD 5.5-inch display screen and under the hood, the midrange handset has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor that is paired with an Adreno 506 graphics processing unit and a RAM of 4GB. The storage unit comes with a 64GB chip with support for microSD card storage via the SIM 2 slot.

If you are a photogenic person, especially when it comes to selfies, the Vivo V5 Plus should be your next phone. This handset ships with a dual-lens front-facing snapper that houses a 20MP lens and another 8MP lens. On the back, you’ll find a 16MP snapper, which should also serve you best when it comes to photos and video recording. The battery unit will not leave you hanging thanks to its impressive 3160mAh capacity and support for fast charging technology.

As for now, the retailer, DirectD, has only opened the Gold color variant for pre-orders. While the official launch will happen this Friday, the phone will be available for purchase starting Saturday, January 21st.
