Two upcoming phone series, the Vivo X200 and one from Oppo, the Find X8 series, are about to be released soon.
Reputed tipster Digital Chat Station has shared that the Dimensity 9400 chipset will first be launched in October this year in the OPPO Find X8 series and Vivo X200 series.
Qualcomm is expected to release the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 at the same time and is anticipated to compete with the Dimensity 9400 chip.

The tipster shared insights about the upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset, the highlights being remarkable enhancements in AI performance and energy efficiency. The NPU (Neural Processing Unit) performance is expected to increase by nearly 40 percent.
What’s more, MediaTek has raised its prices, suggesting that there may be a slight price hike for this generation of small-screen flagship phones.
The recent leaks also indicate that the Vivo X200 series will release up to five models, referred to as “cups.” Besides the standard cup, the X200 series will feature a “medium” cup,” “large cup,” “medium-large cup,” and “extra-large cup.” The Vivo X200 Ultra will be the last model, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip.

According to sources, the Vivo X200 series will feature the Dimensity 9400 chipset in all three models. On the other hand, the Oppo Find X8 series will have the chipset in two models. The X8 lineup is expected to come with the Find X8 and X8 Pro, which sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, whereas the X8 Ultra will encompass the Dimensity 9400 onboard.
The Dimensity 9400, similar to its predecessors, is expected to compete effectively with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and is anticipated to be more efficient than the Dimensity 9300.
