Xiaomi is launching its Mi Mix 3 smartphone in Europe from December 1 and is confirmed by the certificate issued by EEC for the model designated as M1810E5A.
The highlight of this phone is the sliding mechanism it comes with. It is said that Xiaomi has used a magnet called neodymium on both the base phone as well as the slider and it is expected to work perfectly. In fact, there is an independent report that says the slider will work smoothly for over 600,000 times of use, while Xiaomi has kept a conservative figure of 300,000 slides.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 High End Specs
To bring you up to date on the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 that has already been released in China, it sports a 6.3 inch full HD+ AMOLED display occupying as much as 93.4% of the available space on the screen. The screen resolution reads 1080 x 2340 pixels and the aspect ratio 19.5:9. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC is the processor fitted on the new Xiaomi flagship and the phone could come in 3 RAM variants, 6 GB, 8 GB and 10 GB. The last one, with 10 GB RAM will be termed a special edition phone with 256 GB internal storage.
The storage on the other lower RAM variants could range between 64 GB and 256 GB. A dual 12 MP + 12 MP camera setup in the rear and a dual 24 MP +2 MP setup in the front constitute the imaging section. The support features like LED flash and Night Mode and AI-based applications are all very much part of the phone’s specifications. As you would expect, Xiaomi’s latest adapted MIUI skin will ride over the stock Android Pie version 9. The battery would be a modest 3200 mAh.

As mentioned, the sliding mechanism will be a novelty that the phone users will be keen to know about. The slider houses the front cameras and this is the solution that Xiaomi has come up with while others like Samsung are still looking at different options to save on display space.
Will Face Strong Competition
The earlier doubts on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 making its appearance in the European markets stand dispelled now and there is a clear confirmation on the December 1 release as evident from a reddit thread where a xiaomi fan who had with a discussion with Amazon Germany’s customer care representative has posted a screenshot.
What is not still clear is the price Xiaomi will fix for the phone in Europe. It is expected to keep it in the vicinity of €600 if it has to compete successfully with models like OnePlus 6T.
