Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 2 is all set to be launched towards the end of this month.
There are strong chances of the fan-favorite Ground War mode making a comeback with the game. On Twitter, @ModernWarzone has made this claim but Activision Blizzard has not offered any confirmation on it. @ModernWarzone has a reputation of releasing accurate information about games but it must be noted that it used the term ‘reportedly’ in its tweet.

The various rumors floated about Call of Duty have taught fans an important thing. While one should not dismiss them, one must not believe in them blindly either. Season 2 is slated to release on February 14, so fans wouldn’t have to wait for a long time to verify this news.

In the last several years, the Ground War mode has featured in several Call of Duty games including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which released in 2019. In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which had Combined Arms, this mode was not included. If this mode indeed gets a release, a large section of the fans would be happy.

Because of several issues pertaining to the performance of the game, a large number of players have been upset with the developing team of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Even Activision Blizzard acknowledged the presence of these problems and assured fans that it would work toward resolving them in a planned manner. In an officially released statement, the gaming company promised to look into these issues.
Activision had initially planned to release Season 2 on February 2 but to ensure that it is not plagued with the kind of issues Season 1 had, it decided to give its development team some breathing space and pushed the release ahead.
