Call of Duty: Warzone will be replaced by Call of Duty: Warzone 2 this year by Activision Blizzard.
If battle royale players opt for Warzone 2, they will have to let go of all the progress they have made in the game. All the microtransactions carried out by them so far, too, will become invalid. Before Warzone 2 releases, Activision shall keep trying very hard to promote Warzone and ensure that its player base increases. Now, the gaming publisher has unveiled the final season of Call of Duty: Warzone.
With Call of Duty: Warzone Last Stand, players should brace up for the fifth season of the battle royale. This is also slated to be the final game that will be released as a part of this battle royale. Season 5 is all set to be launched on August 25 and it will continue to hang around till Call of Duty: Warzone 2 comes out. In Last Stand, fans can expect to see a new battle pass and a plethora of new content. The RA 225 SMG and the EX1are two elements gamers should keep an eye out for.
The new season of Call of Duty: Warzone is expected to get gamers hooked right from the very beginning. Volcanic activity will take place in Caldera and gamers will witness lava flowing from different corners and large chunks of molten rocks getting dropped from the sky. In the Caldera map, the Peak POI has been redesigned to accommodate a large number of lava flows. When you play the game, you will see rocks blasting out from the volcano and lying scattered across the island.
When you play Last Stand, you will also notice the presence of a new Gulag map designed for Caldera. There are reports of this map being inspired by some popular elements in the earlier games in the series. This should, therefore, appeal greatly to those who have enjoyed the earliest iterations of the game. The lighting system of Call of Duty: Warzone will also get a major upgrade in the Last Stand.
