Meizu has just confirmed that it will be unveiling its first flagship Meizu Pro 7 this coming week on July 26, latest reports from China can confirm.
Over the past one month, a lot has been going on regarding the Meizu Pro 7, but now we have an official date for the phone’s release. The company has confirmed that it will be holding a conference at its headquarters in Zhuhai, where the phone will be unveiled. The event will kick off at 7.30 PM local time.
While Meizu has confirmed that the Pro 7 will be announced next week, the company, obviously, did not mention a thing about the specs and features to expect when the phone breaks cover. But as noted earlier, a lot has been going on with regards to the phone, which has given us a sneak preview of what to expect from the phone.
If the reports are to be believed, the Meizu Pro 7 will ship with a 5.2-inch full HD display screen and it could be accompanied by a high-end Meizu Pro 7 Plus, which will feature a bigger 5.7-inch QHD display screen. Both phones will feature a dual-lens 12MP camera on the back and a 16MP shooter for selfies.
Under the hood, an Helio X30 SoC will run the show alongside a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage for the base model and up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for the high-end variant.
The Pro 7 Plus variant will reportedly come with a base model of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage alongside other variants of 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage. Where the standard Meizu Pro 7 prices will start from CNY 2,799 for the base model and CNY 3,299 for the high-end model, the Pro 7 Plus prices will start from CNY 3,299 and go all the way to CNY 3,799 for the high-end variant.
