Around 6 months back, GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was launched with much fanfare.
GTA fans had a lot of expectations from the game and believed it would propel the popularity of the much-loved franchise further and play an important role in expanding its player base. Unfortunately, the game could not live up to the gigantic expectations fans had from it and left them disappointed in ways more than one.
For the uninitiated, GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition happens to be an Unreal Engine 4-based contemporary remaster of Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. During its initial release, players pointed out a variety of issues with multiple aspects including visuals, language and several bugs that affected gaming performance.

Though Rockstar Games has managed to fix some of the issues, many of the problems remain unsolved. While the gaming experience has improved considerably, there are many bugs that are yet to be fixed.
One of the biggest issues with GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition at the moment is its visual design. There are times when players have encountered visuals being displayed awkwardly or at odd angles. Many players also brought the grass’ misalignment in the game to Rockstar Games’ attention. Some of the animated visuals are not up to the mark and there have been issues with the way a few of the characters have been etched out visually. Sometimes, when the characters move, they appear to be a little weird.
A large number of players have raised concerns with the Fidelity modes. When you play the game in these modes, the lack of clarity is prominently visible. The Fidelity modes have also been greatly affected by frame-pacing stutters.
Another complaint with the game is its texture work. There are major consistency issues with the texture work that bring down the visual appeal of the game. When the game is played at a very high resolution, the images blow up and look quite unrealistic. The text in the game was plagued with numerous grammatical errors, but most of those have been corrected.
