GTA fans are looking forward to this upcoming event and are curious about how the game would come across in VR. It will be the first-ever game from the series that has been redesigned for VR devices. This particular step by Rockstar Games could result in more number of VR ports being included for Grand Theft Auto games in the near future.

On April 20, 2022, the second edition of the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase will be organized by Meta. Apart from new games, the event will offer a glimpse into the alterations made to the Meta Quest 2 device. The VR version of GTA San Andreas, of course, will be one of the biggest highlights of the event.

In order to make a mark visually, the gaming publisher would have to upscale the VR port of the game significantly. Till now, a gameplay trailer or reveal of the game has not been shared. GTA San Andreas is an open-world sandbox game and contains a bunch of varied activities. A game of this nature, therefore, would be difficult to portray in VR. Because of this, one expects the developing team to spend a lot of time with the game before giving it a final release.
