The Kia Stonic Crossover is coming to the UK and the company has announced the pricing for the entry level model.
For buyers looking to order one, the variant starts at £16,295.
The automobile brand has confirmed that they will launch five versions of the car out of which two trim levels will be offered. Both petrol and diesel engine models will be available with three different powertrain choices to choose from. The entry level variant has been nicknamed as 2 which is powered by a 1.4-liter petrol engine and an optional model is powered by 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine. The 1.4-liter model is the cheapest of them all which is capable of producing about 98 horsepower and 133Nm of torque.
Kia also has a special model named the First Edition which runs on a more potent 1.6-liter diesel engine and can render an improved 108 horsepower with 260Nm of torque. The car can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 10.9 seconds. It’s fuel efficiency is pegged at 67.3 miles per gallon. While there are multiple trim line variants and models available for the Stonic crossover, the top of the line is the 1.0-liter turbo petrol capable of producing 118 horsepower. The particular model can go from 0 to 60 mph in about 9.9 seconds. All the trim line variants are equipped with a six speed manual gearbox. They are also bundled with a start and stop engine system to offer a convenient ride.

The company has opened order windows for the Kia Stonic Crossover which is one of the hottest selling models in the United Kingdom. The deliveries will begin on October 23rd. With their new launch, Kia is going after the popular models already available in stores including Renault Captur, Nissan Juke and Hyundai Kona.
The new version of the Stonic is equipped with a lot of technology features like vehicle stability management, electronic stability control and hill start assist. These safety features when combined with autonomous braking system, emergency braking and lane departure warning system are provided as an optional feature in the entry level Kia Stonic 2 trim level and First Edition.
The dashboard features a large 7-inch display combined with a DAB radio, supports MP3, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. All models use large 17-inch alloy wheels and a range of user friendly features to make it a fun ride. The Kia Stonic crossover comes with a seven year manufacturer warranty.
