A prominent leaker has made claims about Red Dead Redemption 2 receiving an upgrade for the Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5 soon.
The game, as most players would know, is a prequel to Red Dead Redemption which came out in the year 2010. The game traces the journey of an outlaw named Arthur Morgan through the American South’s rugged landscape in a bygone era. Red Dead Redemption 2 was launched in 2019 and managed to break several major records shortly after its release.
The arrival of next-gen consoles like the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 has, in a lot of ways, revitalized games like Grand Theft Auto 5 and Cyberpunk 2077. These games have received major upgrades on these consoles and that has resulted in several new players trying them out. Some of the new technical features, like the Haptic Feedback support in PlayStation 5, have also helped in propelling the popularity of these games forward.

A large number of Red Dead Redemption 2 fans are of the opinion that this could be the next last-gen game to make a transition to the new-gen consoles. Rockstar Games, however, hasn’t offered any clarification on this. Some of the insiders have stated that there is a good possibility of the game being launched on Xbox Series X|S but that will not happen this year.

So, there is a good chance of this claim being authentic as well.
