Despite being a technically advanced game, Red Dead Redemption 2 is not devoid of glitches.
In fact, the very fact that it is an expansive game encompassing a vast world within it exposes it to the risk of getting affected by a variety of bugs. During the development process of such a game, it is quite natural for some glitches to seep in. While some of the bugs are the kind that one can ignore, there are some glitches that affect one’s gaming experience significantly. A recently discovered glitch belongs to the second category.
A Reddit user named edo2502 shared a clip that featured the player being attacked and then, killed by a wolf. What was interesting was the fact that the player was immediately found to be a part of the opening scene of Red Dead Redemption 2 after his death. While the autosave feature of the game managed to keep a track of the player’s progress in the game, it is quite a discomforting experience for a player to be sent back to the beginning of the game.
At the moment, one is not sure as to what caused this particular bug to appear in the game. There could be a problem with free roam but there is no clarity on the source of this issue yet. The developing team must be trying hard to decode this problem as a player being made to reappear in the single-player campaign’s first cutscene is far from being a minor glitch.
It’s quite interesting to see players discovering such weird glitches in the game. In a way, it shows the kind of enthusiasm they have and also makes it clear that they have managed to explore the game far beyond the imagination of the developers.
