The LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was officially launched on April 5 and since then, it has been getting a lot of love and appreciation from gamers.

In just a couple of days, the game has managed to break many prominent records. Warner Brother Games has acknowledged the massive success received by the game by terming it as the company’s biggest LEGO launch till date.

Shortly after it was released, the game emerged as the most-played Star Wars and LEGO game on Steam. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was tried out by as many as 82,517 gamers at its peak. All this happened within 24 hours of the release of the game. It comfortably smashed the record of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order which, at its launch peak, was played by 46,550 players. In the United Kingdom, it managed to sell more physical copies than Elden Ring. Therefore, the publisher’s claim of it being the biggest LEGO launch ever is very much true.

As per the official announcement by Warner Brothers Games, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has clocked in 3.2 million sales in just two weeks and gone beyond the earlier sales records “across every platform, region, and edition”. The company also expressed its gratitude towards players who were responsible for the massive launch the game received.

The success of the game must have worked as a relief for TT Games which had received a lot of criticism for the delayed release of the game. It was also accused of making LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga go through ‘extensive crunch’. Now that The Skywalker Saga has been received so well by gamers, the publisher would be making a lot of plans to propel the growth of the LEGO and Star Wars franchises forward.
