Motorola One Zoom and Moto Z4 with Android 10 have appeared on Wi-Fi Alliance. Both phones were launched with Android 9 Pie OS onboard.
The new Wi-Fi certifications of the aforementioned devices suggest that they will be soon treated with an Android 10 OS upgrade. Moto One Zoom has appeared with the model number XT2010 and Moto Z4 with model number XT1980.
Motorola One Zoom was made official in September. Unlike the other One series phones that belong to the Android One program, the One Zoom is non-Android One device. Now that the phone has been spotted with Android 10 on WFA, it could be soon receiving the OS update before the end of December. The Android One edition of One Zoom is called Motorola One Pro.
Motorola Moto Z4 smartphone was announced in the month of May this year. It had also come with Android 9 Pie OS. The WFA appearance of the phone with Android 10 suggests that it could be one of the non-One series branded phones from the company to receive the newest Android version. It remains to be seen whether the Moto Z4 users are treated with Android 10 update before the end of 2019. Online reports had revealed that Android 10 will be the last major OS update for the Moto Z4. Hence, it is likely that Android R (Android 11) won’t be coming to Moto Z4 users.
Android 10 was officially unveiled in August. However, Motorola has not revealed the list of phones that will be provided with the Android 10 upgrade. Motorola has recently launched phones such as Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Play, Moto E6, Motorola One Macro and One Action. There is a possibility that these could be one of the first phones to get treated Android 10 update. Probably, the company may rollout Android 10 upgrade first to its One-lineup.
