Mysterious Vivo V1901A Spotted on Geekbench with Helio P35 SoC, 4GB RAM and Android 9 Pie

A new Vivo phone labelled as Vivo V1901A has appeared on Geekbench today.

The handset is packed with modest specs which indicates that it will be the company’s forthcoming budget-friendly phone.

The MediaTek MT6765V/CA chipset powers the mysterious Vivo V1901A smartphone. It is nothing but the new Helio P35 chipset that powered the Xiaomi Mi Play announced in December 2018. The Vivo 1901A may arrive as Vivo’s first smartphone with Helio P35 chipset. The SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone is preinstalled with Android 9 Pie OS.

In the single-core test of Geekbench, the Vivo V1901A has scored 907 points. It has recorded 4413 in multi-core test. Since the Vivo 1901A smartphone has been spotted for the first time, it is difficult to speculate on the identity of the phone.

Some reports have claimed that the company has replaced its Y-series with the new U-series. The Chinese manufacturer had recently launched the Vivo U1 as the company’s first U-series phone. It remains to be seen whether the Vivo 1901A phone will end up as the next U-lineup phone from Vivo.

Vivo Y95 (Vivo U1)

The Vivo Y95 that was unveiled in India in November was announced as Vivo U1 smartphone in February. The handset comes with a 6.22-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop-style notch that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 439 chipset powers the phone along with 4 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 64 GB. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot. For photography, the handset is equipped with 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. It comes with 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is packed with a 4,030 mAh battery. The FunTouch OS 4.5 based Android 8.1 Oreo OS comes preinstalled on the device.
