Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition Launched in India

Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition

There is a new Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition in town, but it is only available for the folks in India, one of the hottest smartphone markets, especially when it comes to midrangers.

The original Oppo F1s is still available for purchase in the Asian country, but the new Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition comes in as a special treat for the market. One thing you need to know is that the new Limited Edition doesn’t bring to the fold anything new as far as specs and hardware configurations are concerned, however, you get a slight difference in the feel thanks to the new look of the phone.

Oppo F1s was launched in India a few months ago. When you compare the latest Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition to the original version, you will for sure notice that the rear panel has been completely redesigned. Unlike the initial release, the new Limited Edition of Oppo F1s brings a gilded Diwali pattern on its back. Furthermore, you should be able to notice signatures of Oppo brand ambassadors – Sonam Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan – on the same rear panel.

The new additions to the Oppo F1s Limited Edition don’t end there. Still, a look at the software of the new handset will reveal some slight tweaks. There is a Diwali Elements theme on board and with it, you get a few tweaks in the way the icons look like, although this doesn’t change anything to do with the core experience of the Oppo F1s.

Those in India and are open to getting this special version of Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition can grab one for the original version’s price of Rs. 17,990. The phone is already up for pre-orders and this will go on until 13th via the Oppo Concept Store. As for the official sales, check out from October 14th.

In terms of specs, you get a 5.5-inch screen with 720p resolution. Under the hood, there is an octa-core MT6750 SoC that has been paired with a decent RAM of 3GB. The onboard storage is stuck at 32GB, but there is room to expand it via a microSD card. Perhaps the major selling point of the Oppo F1s Diwali Limited Edition is its front-facing 16MP camera alongside a 13MP rear snapper. You also get other perks such as a fingerprint scanner and a huge battery unit of 3075mAh, which should be enough to take you through days, especially when looking at the small number of pixels (267ppi) the battery has to power.
