OPPO K9x with 90Hz Display, 64MP Triple Cameras Launched in China


OPPO K9x has been silently unveiled in China. It is the fourth K9 branded phone of the year after the OPPO K9, K9 Pro, and K9x.

It features a punch-hole display on the front and a rear camera module with “09-K” branding like the other K9 series of smartphones. The OPPO K9x is nothing but a rebadged edition of the Realme 8s 5G that debuted a few months ago in India. Here is all the information on the specs, features, and pricing of the smartphone.

OPPO K9x Specifications

The OPPO K9x features a 6.5-inch LCD screen that delivers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The power button available on the right side of the device is embedded with a fingerprint scanner. It comes with Android 11 OS and the ColorOS 12 UI.

The Dimensity 810 is at the helm of the OPPO K9x. The phone comes in multiple variants such as 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W rapid charging support.

The display punch-hole of the OPPO K9x serves as a home for its 16-megapixel selfie snapper. There is a 64MP (main) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) triple camera unit with LED flash on the backside of the phone. The OPPO K9x has other features like a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot.

OPPO K9x Price

OPPO K9x is now up for reservations in China. The Chinese brand is yet to confirm its pricing. The first sale of the phone is scheduled to take place on December 27 in China. It will be available in Obsidian Black and Silver Purple colors. Since a rebranded version of the phone is available with the Realme 8s 5G name in India, it is unclear whether the company will be releasing it in global markets.
