Oppo has recently launched the Snapdragon 845 Oppo Find X smartphone. After Find 7 phone that was unveiled in 2014, the new Find X phone is the first flagship phone from the company.
Now, a new smartphone labelled as PAHM00 has surfaced on Geekbench. It seems to be another high-end phone from the company as it is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC.
According to Geekbench listing of the Oppo PAHM00, it is equipped with Snapdragon 835 SoC. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. It is running on Android 8.1 Oreo OS. The mysterious handset has scored 1,933 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 6,527 in multi-score test. The octacore processor clocks at a frequency of 1.90 GHz.
Last year, an Oppo phone had appeared with Snapdragon 835, 6 GB RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat on the same benchmarking site. However, the handset was never unveiled.
Apart from Find X, there is no other Oppo phone with 8 GB of RAM. Also, the company has never released a Snapdragon 835 powered smartphone. The existence of the smartphone suggests that Oppo may continue to release high-end phones after focusing on mid-range and upper mid-range segments for the past few years.
The Find X was introduced in China with a price tag of 4,999 Yuan ($752) in China. Could the newly spotted Oppo PAHM00 be an affordable variant of the Oppo Find X or could be the upcoming Oppo R15s smartphone? It is likely that the PAHM00 phone may soon show up on the website TENAA with full specs and images.
