According to the TENAA listing, the OPPO Reno 8 (PGBM10) houses a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It will probably support at least a 90Hz refresh rate. For security, it features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
It is powered by a 3GHz octa-core processor, which appears to be the Dimensity 1300 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM. The device offers 128 GB / 256 GB of native storage. It will come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and ColorOS UI.
The Reno 8 has a 32-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies. Its rear camera setup is headlined by a 50-megapixel camera. The main snapper is coupled with a pair of 2-megapixel cameras.
The device probably packs a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery. But the TENAA listing says that one of its rated capacities is 2,200mAh. It is speculated to carry support for 80W fast charging, as per the listing available on JD.com. The retailer listing also mentions that the PGBM10 model number belongs to the Reno 8.
The OPPO Reno 8 will be available in two variants, such as 8GB + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. It will arrive in three colors like Slightly Drunk, Clear Sky Blue, and Night Tour Black. The TENAA listing also mentions purple, which may be introduced later.
