POCO X4 5G (2201116PG) has bagged approval from Thailand’s NBTC authority. It seems that the smartphone will be launching soon in multiple markets.
Rumors have it that the device could be packed with the same specs that are available on the global version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. However, the POCO device is likely to sport a unique design as compared to the Redmi phone.
POCO X4 5G receives NBTC certification
The NBTC certification reveals that the 2201116PG model number belongs to the upcoming POCO X4 5G handset. The listing has no information on the major specs of the device. The POCO X4 5G has been previously spotted at 2201116PG model number at the Malaysia SIRIM certification platform.
However, a recently spotted TDRA listing revealed that the 2201116PG model number is associated with the POCO X4 Pro 5G. Considering that the 2201116PG will be a rebadged version of the Snapdragon 695 powered Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, it may debut as the POCO X4 5G. Last year’s POCO X3 Pro was powered by the Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Hence, the company is unlikely to offer a non-flagship chip on the X4 Pro 5G.
