Samsung has witnessed some great success with their Galaxy A5 2017 and the A7 2017 smartphones.
The A series devices have been going on a strong year for sometime now.
Every year, the smartphone manufacturer would upgrade the specifications of the A3, A5 and A7 phones before launching them in the market. The 2017 editions of these smartphones were unveiled in the month of January this year. Much to the disappointment of many, they were running on older android versions. The phones were powered by Android Marshmallow. After a tedious wait that lasted nearly six months, it looks like Samsung is getting ready to introduce Nougat 7.0 operating system to these smartphones.
The Galaxy A5 and A7 editions were spotted in a test bench from the Wifi Alliance. They have acquired Wifi certification which is usually done for new models and whenever a big update rolls out for the existing smartphone models. The listing has confirmed that these phones might soon receive the most awaited update. After all, when you buy a phone in 2017 you would obviously expect it to run the latest operating system. Samsung has always been slow in this regard as they take a long time to introduce Android versions to their phones. The company follows a strict regime when the updates will be tested for bugs and confirmed to work seamlessly on their phone’s configuration before they are rolled out.
According to the Wifi Alliance listing, both models are running on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 features a compact 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the shell, it is powered by a 1.9 Ghz octa core Exynos 7880 processor combined with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space. You can always choose to expand it with the help of a micro SD card. The phone has also been IP68 certified against water and dust making it an ideal choice to not worry too much about it getting spoiled.
On the other side, the Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 features a much bigger 5.7-inches AMOLED display with a 1080p screen and is powered by Exynos 7880 Octa core 1.9 Ghz processor. The phone has the same 3GB of RAM with 32 GB storage and IP68 certification to protect it against environmental hazards like water and dust.
With Nougat 7.0, these Samsung phones should be a much better choice to go for!
