A couple of weeks ago, notorious leaker Evan Blass published images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in two of the three color variants that are expected.
The Korean company is expected to release the Galaxy Note 8 in Midnight Black, Maple Gold and Deep Sea Blue, but only the former two have been leaked before. The same tipster is at it again, this time coming up with our first look at the Deep Sea Blue color variant.
While the Midnight Black color variant was emerging as a fan favorite, it appears that the Deep Sea Blue variant could end up carrying the day. While the image itself only gives us a view of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 frontal part, the accompanying S Pen is enough to give us a hint of what the back panel will look like and there’s no doubt that’s a gorgeous one. The problem is that all colors might not be available in all markets despite Samsung’s promise that all color variants and storage options will be available from day one.
We’ve seen the Galaxy S8 and S8+ get newer color variants after launch. Whether Samsung will also do this with the Galaxy Note 8 is still unknown, but it’s possible if there’s need to keep fans busy until the release of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in early 2018.
After what happened last year, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is here to wipe those memories away. Whether it will win back power users that have always been loyal is still unknown, but if all goes well, there’s no doubt that the Note 8 will be one of the best phones released this year.
Samsung is expected to hold an event on August 23, which is next week Wednesday, in New York, to unveil the Note 8. There are reports that the phone could go on sale the following day with pricing expected to start at around $1000.
