Rumor abounds on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones.
A leaked photo now allegedly claims that the display panel shown in it belongs to these flagship models from Samsung.
Earlier leaked renders of the phone surfaced online but the new image is closer to the actual model as it showcases only the front panels without the body. Based on this picture, it is claimed that both phones, the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus will sport curved displays. This is not the first time that leaked pictures claim to be of the display panel of the flagship smartphone. A similar photo emerged two weeks ago on the website Weibo and now we have another one claiming to be the display panel. They could be real or probably fake panels of some other models.
Samsung follows a style where they distribute test units to employees and beta testers in prototype shells, reports sammobile. The idea is to make sure the actual phones and their design variants don’t get leaked well ahead of schedule. Based on this theory, we can also say that this could be the curved display panels the company plans to use in their upcoming flagship models.
Before the big launch, the company is yet to hold a press conference to explain what made the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 explode at the most unexpected circumstances. The explanation will play a crucial role in bringing back the trust customers have on the Samsung brand. The Note 7 created much chaos around the globe even though it is one of the best phablet that you could get your hands on.
Once the press meet in done and the company manages to convince people that their phones are still safe to use, we expect they would make an announcement of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. A Note 8 2017 edition is also being rumored. Samsung can hardly stop making phones in the Note category as the large size, unique stylus and powerful hardware made it the most preferred choice among business users who rely on it for their everyday tasks. It serves both as a tablet and a smartphone while being productive unlike any other models they could get their hands on.
Being leaked photos, we would advise to take this rumor with a pinch of salt until an official announcement is made by Samsung. It is also speculated that the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus may not have 3.5mm headphone jacks in them just like the Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
