Despite complaints and mixed reviews, the Sims 4 real life simulator from Electronic Arts and Maxis continues to thrive among its hardcore fans.
The developers have announced a new DLC pack. The Sims 4 Backyard Stuff, as the name suggests allows you to host your own party in the backyard. There is a whole lot of new outfits designed specifically for the summer fun one could have in their own house. They are totally different from what people would prefer to wear in a beach or in a holiday destination.
Apart from the new outfits, backyard stuff DLC also adds new items to play with. You have brand new chairs, decorations, floral stands, hangout umbrellas and much more to choose from. They are all of smaller size, making it easier to set them up in the back of your house and call neighbors to join in the party. The mini skiing setup is the most fun of them all. It can be interacted with and the sims will enjoy sliding on them for a short distance.
One of them uses a water show while the other one is full of foam. Both these sliding mats provide a completely new experience and whole lots of fun for the entire crowd. The Sims 4 Backyard Stuff is scheduled to get launched on July 19th. It was confirmed with an official trailer that showcased some of the items, the activities and setup that one could achieve by purchasing the pack.
Electronic Arts and Maxis is known for pushing the game to its boundaries by splitting everything into an individual pack priced at $20. While some gamers are totally annoyed by this practice, many continue to enjoy the game and purchase them for a cost. The concept of releasing large expansion packs is long gone. These minor add-ons hardly add spice to the game.
After all, you can already do a lot of things in the Sims 4. Some expansions like get to work was worth the time and money spent while many others are not. There is no word on a Sims 4 because the team is still busy releasing content for the existing game.
