Vivo V1831A/T Images Appear on TENAA; Could it be Vivo Z5?

A new Vivo phone with model Vivo V1831A / V1831T has been approved by TENAA, the telecom authority in China and it could be the Vivo Z5.

Few specs and images of the smartphone have surfaced on TENAA through which it can be confirmed that it is the Vivo V15 handset for China. It is likely that the phone will debut with a different moniker in China.

According to the TENAA listing of Vivo V1831A/T, it is equipped with a 6.53-inch display. The handset measures 161.97 × 75.93 × 8.54 mm and it is packed with a 3860 mAh battery. The front image of the phone available on its TENAA suggests that it features a notch-less display. Probably, it could be equipped with a pop-out selfie camera. The back panel of the phone is fitted with a vertical triple camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo V15 Pro that features a notch-less 6.39-inch AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint reader, a pop-up selfie camera and a rear-facing triple camera setup measures 157.3 x 8.2 mm. The weaker Vivo V15 has a 6.53-inch LCD screen, a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, a pop-up front camera and triple rear cameras. Its dimensions are 161.97 x 8.54 mm. This indicates that the newly spotted Vivo V1813A/T smartphone will place itself between Vivo V15 and V15 Pro.

Vivo does not sell V-series phones in China. Some of the V-series that were sold in other countries have been made available as Z-series phone in the home market. Hence, there is a possibility that the Vivo V1831A/T could be an upcoming Z-series phone for China. The other specs of the smartphone could be based on Vivo V15. Hence, it the V1831A/T could be equipped with Helio P60 processor, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of native storage, 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera setup, 32-megapixel front came and 4,000 mAh battery.

There is no concrete evidence to prove that the Vivo V1831AT will debut as Vivo Z5 but if this phone were to get a ‘Z’ series name, considering the fact that the predecessors were odd numbers, this phone could be the Vivo Z5 instead of Vivo Z4. The previous V series phone launched was Vivo Z3. Hence, it is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm on its existence.
