Xiaomi 2201116SC has received certification from the TENAA authority of China. This phone was previously approved by China’s 3C authority earlier this month.
While the TENAA listing of the device is yet to reveal its specifications, a Chinese tipster has leaked some of its key details.
Xiaomi 2201116SC Specifications (Rumored)
The Chinese tipster claimed that the Xiaomi phone with the 2201116SC model number will be launching as a Redmi device. It is yet to be confirmed whether it will be launching as a Redmi Note 11 series or RedmI K50 lineup device.
The tipster claimed that there is a probability that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 690 chipset. The device may arrive with a 120Hz refresh rate display with a punch-hole design. It could be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G for Global Markets
The 2201116SC handset is expected to release in multiple countries apart from launching in China. It is speculated that model numbers 2201116SR, 2201116SI, and 220111S6G may belong to the Japanese, Indian, and global versions of the 2201116SC handset.
Previous leaks have suggested that the device’s rear camera setup will have a 108MP Samsung HM2 or 64MP Samsung GW3 primary camera. The main snapper could be coupled with an 8MP Sony IMX3566 ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
There is a possibility that this Snapdragon SoC powered device could be heading to the global markets with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G moniker. The leaked renders of Note 11 Pro 5G shared by My Smart Price suggests that the device may feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack. While the device is likely to be called Note 11 Pro 5G in global markets, there is no moniker for the Chinese market.
