New Xiaomi phone with model variants M1901F7E, M1901F7T, M1901F7C have been certified by China’s Compulsory Certificate (3C) authority in the home market and it could well be Redmi 7.
The M1901F9T and M190F1F9E Xiaomi models that had appeared in the previous month are speculated to be the variants of the Redmi Note 6 smartphone. Since the M1901F7E, M1901F7T and M1901F7C 3C listing suggests it’s a low-end phone, it could be the Redmi 7 series smartphone.
The 3C listing of M1901F7E, M1901F7T and M1901F7C shows that it carries support for 5V/2A charging. Since the Redmi series from Xiaomi carries support for 10W charging, it is likely it could be any of the Redmi 7 series smartphone such as Redmi 7, Redmi 7A or Redmi 7 Pro.
Probably, the M1901F7E, M1901F7T and M1901F7C will soon appear on TENAA with full specs in the near future. Almost all of the Xiaomi phones that had launched in this year had M18 at the beginning of their model numbers. So the “M18” could be for the devices meant for year 2018. Since “M19” is mentioned in the newly spotted Xiaomi models, it appears that it will be heading for release in the year 2019.
Speaking of “M19” reminds of the M1901F9T and M190F1F9E that was certified at the end of November. Even this smartphone will be heading for a release in the coming year. The M1901F9T and M190F1F9E models also carry support for 10W charging.
Xiaomi is yet to launch the Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone in China. Since the Redmi Note 5 Pro had launched as Redmi Note 5 in China, there is a possibility that Redmi Note 6 Pro may debut as Redmi Note 6 in the home market. The Redmi Note 6 Pro carries support for 18W charging, but it is bundled with 10W charger. In the same way, the Redmi Note 6 for China may come with a 10W charging in its retail package. However, it will be equipped with support for 18W fast charging.
