Huawei has a lot going in its stable and their latest Honor V9 promises a lot.

The phone boasts of a QHD display combined with a powerful battery and claims to be the best when it comes to VR, 3D support.

The Honor V9 is yet another beautiful smartphone in the lineup that Huawei has to offer. The company has been doing a great job in the past few launches and the Honor series is easily the best alternative to brands like Samsung, Motorola. The latest model has a 2.5D glass with a large 5.7-inch display. It has a QHD resolution with 1440p LTPS LCD display. While the company could have gone with an OLED display, this should be pretty good as well.

The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat that has Huawei’s own EMUI 5.0 on top and is supposed to utilize the best that the new OS has to offer. Any smartphone launched in 2017 is supposed to run Nougat and it can no longer be considered a luxury by manufacturers.

All the visual beauty is appropriately powered by a Kirin 960 octa core processor that is already being used by the Mate 9. It will 4GB of RAM in the base model which may go up to 6GB RAM based on the variant you pick. The phone has a SD card that supports upto 128GB of additional space.

The popular dual 12 megapixel camera setup in the rear continues with the Huawei Honor V9. Convenient design aesthetics include a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, LED flash with multi-color support and an exceptionally thin body that resembles a lot like the iPhone. However, the phone still has a 3.5mm audio jack with 4,000mAh battery and uses USB Type C port. Huawei Honor V9 might surprise most with its price tag. The top of the line 6GB RAM, 128GB storage is priced at $508 while the entry level 4GB, 64GB space model is just $377 which is a steal considering the amazing design, battery and the brilliant display the phone offers.
