Realme 5 Pro with model number RMX1971 has appeared in Geekbench confirming the processor, RAM variant and the OS.
Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro are all set to be released in India on August 20. The phone has just been benchmarked with Qualcomm snapdragon 712 SoC, which will appear as Snapdragon 710 on Geekbench. The phone that has been tested on Geekbench has 8GB RAM and the device will be powered by Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The phone with the same model number has already been certified in Russia where it bagged the EEC certification and it has also been certified in India’s BIS, which confirms the locations the phone is heading to.
The Geekbench scores for Realme 5 Pro are 1143 and 4618 for single and multi-core scores respectively. This is considerably lower than the performance scores of Realme 5 with model number RMX1911, which recently appeared on Geekbench with scores of 1525 and 5498 respectively. This leads us to assuming that the scores might have been computed or updated erroneously in the listing, which is not a very uncommon sight when it comes to Geekbench listings which can easily be tampered with in some cases!
Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro Specs
Realme 5 will come with Snapdragon 665 SoC, which is codenamed ‘Trinket’. The battery will be huge with 5000 mAh power and this is a great improvement when compared to its predecessors Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro. The phone will have quad rear cameras and the company CEO has officially tweeted the phone’s image on Twitter just yesterday. The Realme 5 Pro price is expected to be sub-INR 10000.
Realme 5 Pro will also have quad camera setup at the rear but will come with a 48 MP IMX586 sensor, which is the highlight. Another standout feature of 5 Pro is the VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 as it can power up the phone’s battery at lightning speed from 0 to 55% in just 30 minutes.
With just 4 days to go, let’s wait and see what else Realme 5 series has in it to surprise us!
