Realme 5 with model number RMX1911 has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform to confirm some of its key specs.
The same model number has bagged approval from Thailand’s NBTC certification body and Malaysia’s SIRIM. It appears that the Realme 5 could be the first phone from the company to feature the Snapdragon 665 chipset.
The RMX1911 Geekbench listing reveals that it has scored 1525 in the single-core test and 5498 in the multi-core test. The handset runs on Android 9 Pie OS. The chipset that powers the phone is mentioned as ‘trinket’ which is assisted by 4 GB of RAM.
Before the launch of Xiaomi Mi CC9e, it had appeared on Geekbench with trinket chipset. Its official launch revealed that it is the first phone to be fueled by the Snapdragon 665. Geekbench has quite a few listings of devices codenamed ‘trinket‘. Most of them are multiple listings of Xiaomi Mi CC9e and Xiaomi Mi A3 with trinket as the placeholder for processor.

The Mi A3 is an Android One version of the Mi CC9e for the global markets. Hence, the Mi A3 is also powered by SD665. An upcoming OPPO phone with model number Oppo CPH1931 is also expected to feature the SD665 chipset.
Realme 5 Release Date and Expected Price
The company will be launching the Realme 5 series in India on August 20. Both Realme 5 and 5 Pro smartphones will be featuring four-rear mounted cameras. The Pro model is confirmed to feature Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary lens. The Realme 5 may come with a 16-megapixel main lens in quad camera setup.

It is speculated that the Realme 5 Pro could be fueled by Snapdragon 712 chipset. The Realme 5 could be priced under INR 10,000 whereas the Pro model could be slightly costlier. The other details of the Realme 5 series are currently under the wraps.
