The new Vauxhall Insignia GSi is close to launch as the automobile brand confirmed they are going to showcase it at the upcoming 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
People will be able to see the car in all metal at the event which takes place in the month of September.
The car has caught the attention of many because of its impressive 257 horsepower and the range of sporty components used to build this exciting new model. It is a performance car both in terms of looks and powertrain. The designers have worked to ensure they use the right body kit and color accents so as to distinguish the Insignia model from the regular variant. The front bumper is adorned with silver accents, has twin exhaust pipes and a large 20-inch alloy wheel setup can be opted for if the buyer prefers. The designers use Michelin Pilot 4 S tires that should offer the best grip and driving experience for drivers.
As expected, a potent 2.0-liter four cylinder turbo engine is used in the car which is capable of producing up to 257 horsepower and 400Nm of torque. The powerful engine is connected to an eight speed automatic gearbox as obviously going with a manual gear would spoil the sporty aspect of the car. Vauxhall does have plans to launch a diesel engine variant of the same car but it won’t be revealed at the Frankfurt motor show. An announcement will be made at a later date,confirmed sources.

A four wheel drive system powers the Vauxhall Insignia GSi model. The power generated by the engine is seamlessly split across the car with the help of a torque vectoring system connected to the rear axle. With the help of this technology, the car can accelerate each rear wheel individually providing an impressive level of grip and traction when doing tight corners. For the comfort of passengers, the car uses a unique suspension system which is made using 10mm shorter springs. The shock absorbers are uniquely designed and developed specifically for this particular model to keep bumps at the lowest possible level.
The driver will always be in control of the car which uses Brembo brakes and the Vauxhall Insignia GSi also features a flat bottomed sporty steering wheel coupled with sports seats. The racing appeal is evident throughout the model and it should easily appease the expectations of those who want a performance oriented model from the Vauxhall brand.
